Charles Bello, a long-time dedicated coach and volunteer of the Burlington Soccer Club was involved in a serious cycling accident in late August. Charles’ road to recovery will be long and difficult. While Charles will be more than up for the challenge, we want to keep his spirit and enthusiasm for soccer alive and strong to aid in his recover and to continue the example he has set. In addition to the thousands of hours he has personally committed to coaching for the BSC, Charles has personally paid to support families and players who have needed assistance paying for their kids’ registration fees – a cause very close to Charles’ heart. To continue with this cause, all proceeds from the game will be donated in his name to the Burlington Soccer Club Fee Assistance fund.
