Introduction to BSC Curriculum - Clinic #1 @ Sherwood Forest Park (Dome 1)

The Burlington Soccer Club is committed to assist with the ongoing development of all of our coaches.  Our aim is to improve the quality and standard of all the coaches within the club. Ongoing coach education is vital for successfully developing players of all ages regardless of their ability or skill level.

BSC is pleased to announce our Spring House League Coaching Clinics, which will be for the coaches working with the U9-U12 aged players in our 2020 season. They are designed to compliment the existing coach certification program and give the coaches additional information and experience which will help build their own team program.

Clinic # 1 – Introduction to BSC Curriculum for 9-12 year olds

This Clinic is essential for those coaches working with our 9-12 year old players. In the first of three clinics, we will introduce sessions from the new recreational program curriculum. This session will cover, balance, agility & coordination sessions, ball related warm ups, basic passing activities, as well as fun game with & without the ball as recommended by Ontario Soccer’s Long Term Player Development Model (LTDP).

The three clinics are designed to enable our coaches to start working with their players immediately, with confidence.
