Coach Development Session 1 – Introduction to Mini Soccer for 6 – 8 year olds @ Sherwood Forest Park, the Pitch

This Coach Development Session is essential for those coaches working with our 6-8 year old players. In this clinic, we will introduce sessions from the new recreational program curriculum. This will cover, balance, agility & coordination sessions, ball related warm ups as well as fun game with & without the ball as recommended by Ontario Soccer’s Long Term Player Development Model (LTDP).

The CDS are designed to enable our coaches to start working with their players immediately, with confidence.

Please come prepared to take part in this on-field session.

This Coach Development Session (CDS) is essential for those coaches working with our 9-12 year old players. In this CDS, we will introduce sessions from the new recreational program curriculum. This session will cover, balance, agility & coordination sessions, ball related warm ups, basic passing activities, as well as fun game with & without the ball as recommended by Ontario Soccer’s Long Term Player Development Model (LTDP).

The CDS are designed to enable our coaches to start working with their players immediately, with confidence.

Outdoor Season Kick-Off Week

It’s Outdoor Season Opening Week.

We welcome all those participating in our outdoor recreational season’s back to the pitch. Make sure to

  • Double check your family calendar on your PowerUp Account for your start date, time and location
  • Make sure you have everything you need for a great season:
    • Shinpads
    • Cleats (or running shoes)
    • Jersey (more on this shortly)
    • Water
    • Positive Attitude
  • Jerseys – if you have not received this in advance of your first game, don’t fret, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your first scheduled kick-off to receive it

We’ll see you on the pitch!
