New for Summer 2025

The Bayhawks High-Performance Camp is designed for competitive and aspiring competitive players who are passionate about developing their skills and love for the game in a fun, challenging, and structured environment. The camp is led by experienced, licensed coaches and players from the Burlington Soccer Club’s elite player pathway. This camp is the perfect blend of technical training, game understanding, and high-energy fun.

Throughout each week, players will experience game-based activities that introduce the core principles of play, attacking, defending, and transitions, in realistic scenarios. Their decision making will be tested and their game acumen enhanced. The camp wraps up with an exciting Skills Challenge and World Cup, where players get the chance to showcase their skills in a fun and competitive format.


What to Expect?

Intensive Technical Training  Focused sessions on ball mastery, passing & receiving, shooting, and 1v1 skill development.

Tactical Awareness & Game IQ – Small-sided games and scenario-based training to improve decision-making, positioning, and vision.

Physical & Mental Conditioning – Speed, agility, strength, coordination, and mind-set work built into every day’s training to get you 1% better everyday.

High Repetition, High Touch Environment – Maximize touches and game-like actions in a competitive and supportive setting.


Camp Schedule

Location – Sherwood Forest Park, field TBD (5270 Fairview Street, Burlington)

Dates – Weekly throughout the Summer

  • July 14 – 18
  • July 21 – 25: BSC x TOCA
  • August 11 – 15
  • August 18 – 22

Ages – U8 to U14 (2017 – 2011 born players)

Cost – $450 per week


Meet the Coaches

Coach Alban is a passionate and energetic soccer professional known for his strong rapport with players and unwavering dedication to their growth. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport, along with a UEFA-B License, bringing both academic expertise and elite certification to his coaching. With years of experience as both a coach and professional player, Coach Alban combines deep game knowledge with a player-first approach. This summer, he brings his commitment to development, enthusiasm, and high standards to the Bayhawks High-Performance Camp, aiming to inspire and elevate every athlete he works with.


Coach Joao – brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience—including time with the SL Benfica Academy—and 10 years of professional playing experience in Portugal. Holding a UEFA-A License, he believes “impossible is nothing” and emphasizes mental resilience and tactical development. This summer at the Bayhawks High-Performance Camp, he aims to inspire players through a holistic

approach that builds both the mind and the game.


Coach Braden is an experienced soccer coach and former NCAA Division 1 player with a strong background in both playing and mentoring. His playing career includes time with Oakville SC, Toronto FC Academy, the Ontario Provincial Team, and the University at Buffalo, as well as League1 Ontario experience with Oakville Blue Devils and Burlington SC. As a coach, Braden has worked with Toronto FC Juniors and Oakville SC’s OPDL program. He is currently Head Coach of the U12 Girls team at Burlington Soccer Club, where he focuses on technical skills, game intelligence, and building a positive team culture.


Coach Davecombines national team experience with a winning mindset. His playing career includes time with the Canadian Youth National Team and professional stints across South America, North America, and the Caribbean. As a coach, Dave serves as both a player scout and the head coach at Sheridan College, and he holds an AFA Pro License. He is eager to bring his wealth of experience to inspire and develop the next generation of youth players.
