She is very competitive, which has contributed to her long list of amazing accomplishments!
Player’s Spotlight – Morgan McAslan
Bayhawks Alumni, Morgan McAslan, had great success at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Morgan spent 5 years goalkeeping with the Bayhawks under coach Casey Downey and continued on to earn amazing achievements and set impressive records in her sophomore year.
Player’s Spotlight – Amanda West
Bayhawks Alumni, Amanda West, had an incredible 2019 season with the University of Pittsburgh soccer team setting the program points record and tying the single-season program record for goals as a Panther freshman!
Player’s Spotlight – Jian Sweiss
Congratulations to our U14 OPDL Bayhawks team player, Jian Sweiss, invited to train in the Ontario Regional EXCEL (REX) Super Centre from Oct 28-30, 2019 for October Screening. Identified at Provincial Screening, Jian has seen great success through hard work and determination.
Player’s Spotlight – Jian Sweiss
Jian Sweiss, also known as Jiji, plays for the Burlington Bayhawks U13 Girls OPDL team as an attacking midfielder. This Fall, Jiji will have the opportunity to travel to Madrid to train with CD Leganes women’s team. CD Leganes has a very high standard of play for their women’s teams playing in the top 2 divisions of Spanish women’s soccer.

Congratulations to Destiny Pfeiffer (left) and Emma Oliphant (right) from our U17 Girls OPDL who have been selected to travel to Scotland and train with the Glasgow Celtic’s Women’s team from July 22, 2019 to July 27, 2019.

Burlington alumni, Jace Kotsopoulos, continues on his path of soccer success to make it to the Canadian Premier League as a striker for Hamilton Forge FC. Playing for the Burlington Bayhawks, the University of Guelph followed by Hamilton Forge FC, Jace is a great example for what hard work and determination can get you! (more…)
