The Burlington Soccer Club is proud to offer a Futsal program, open to players aged 8-11.
Originating in South America, Futsal is played on hard-court surfaces, fostering technical skills with a smaller, heavier ball. The game’s faster pace, on a smaller court with 5 players (including a goalie), encourages quick decision-making, off-the-ball movement, and effective teamwork.
The players who register for the 10 session program can expect to:
- develop better ball control
- enhance dribbling/ball mastery skills
- improve upon accuracy of passing
- increase accuracy when striking a ball
- faster decision-making skills
- enhance soccer IQ
