Bayhawks Alumni, Amanda West, had an incredible 2019 season with the University of Pittsburgh soccer team setting the program points record and tying the single-season program record for goals as a Panther freshman!
Amanda attended Dr. Frank J Hayden Secondary School in Burlington and played for the Burlington Bayhawks in 2017-2018. Winning the HSSAA Senior Soccer Championships in 2018, which included an Ontario Cup Championship and Finalists for the Nationals under Coach Case Downey, Amanda has continued to have soccer success!
At the University of Pittsburgh, Amanda now majors in Biology playing soccer for the Pittsburgh Panthers. As a freshman, she finished her first season with the team on October 31st, 2019 with 29 points, a program points record. In addition, the Panthers star also tied the single-season program record for goals.
