Bayhawks Fundraising for Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation
This year has been like no other being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time last year, our bayhawks would be preparing and training for another outdoor season but this year is much different. As the team says best, “it is no longer about soccer, sports, nor is it about the Burlington Bayhawks.”
Speed Agility
The Burlington Soccer Club Technical Staff has created a ‘Speed Agility’ manual with great drills for coaches and players to try out. These drills focus on speed agility and speed reaction for improvement.
Balance, Agility & Coordination
The Burlington Soccer Club Technical Staff has been hard at work creating and developing a ‘Balance, Agility & Coordination’ manual for players and coaches. The document includes soccer drills to challenge for improvement.
COVID-19 Update: Development, Competitive, OPDL
Due to recent statements made by the Government of Ontario, City of Burlington and Ontario Soccer, all soccer activities continue to be suspended, preventing teams from returning to on field training sessions and indoor league games. Additionally, the City of Burlington announced that sports fields will remain closed until the end of June.
COVID-19 Update: Recreational
The Burlington Soccer Club continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation on an hourly and daily basis. Our administration will continue to provide updates to our membership and continue to take the appropriate actions to prioritize the health and well-being of members as it pertains to our programs.
Skill Testing Protocol
The Burlington Soccer Club ‘Skill Tests’ have been created for players and coaches so that Bayhawks can continue to train and challenge themselves on their own, while at home.
